- Guys[gɥi, gɥis], Constantin Ernest Adolphe Hyacinthe, französischer Zeichner und Aquarellist, * Vlissingen 3. 12. 1802, ✝ Paris 13. 3. 1892; nahm am griechischen Befreiungskampf teil. 1848-60 schuf er Kriegs- und Reisezeichnungen für die »Illustrated London News«. Ab 1860 ließ er sich in Paris nieder. In den Zeichnungen und Aquarellen der Folgezeit erwies er sich als geistreicher Chronist des mondänen Pariser Lebens.
